Purpose Statement
Precision Machine & Manufacturing (PMM) is on the lookout for a part-time Millwright/Industrial Electrician who is interested in having a flexible schedule and working from an “on-call” basis.

Our ideal candidate would be a retired permitted industrial electrician who is interested in working part-time, with a flexible schedule, and continuing to use his/her skills on an “as-needed” basis.
Our business is growing and we have various industrial electric needs from time to time, whether it be wiring up a new machine, installing a transformer, troubleshooting an electrical problem, or maybe helping with some CNC machine maintenance. Pay is $32.50 – $38.50 an hour – Part-time

Pay: Dependant upon experience. We will work together to find a rate that works for you!

Schedule:
• No set schedule. On-call.
The list below is an example of the types of things that we would need your help with:

Equipment Installation, Diagnosis and Repair-
• Diagnose issues with malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment and complete required repairs.
• Perform minor building plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as needed.
• Execute preventive maintenance procedures and assist the maintenance lead/manager in outage planning.
• Help with and/or install and setup up manufacturing equipment.
• Lead project planning efforts on the installation of new equipment or major repairs.

Communication and Recordkeeping-
• Maintain clear communication with shop leadership regarding the items being worked on and their status.
• Provide proper record keeping, receipts, documentation, and information for, but not limited to; Machine, equipment, and facility files, using Microsoft Office as needed.
• Interfacing with outside resources such as distributors, service and repair facilities, and equipment manufacturers.

Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred.
• 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills at a Journeyman level in Industrial Plant Maintenance Milwright or Industrial Electrician.
• Must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the state licensing requirements in Millwright and Electrical work.
• Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card and/or Journeyman Millwright card preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts.
• Project planning/implementation/oversight is helpful.
• Must have the ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Requires experience using all forms of power and hand tools, welding, forklift, and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand and work for long periods, climb ladders, work at high elevations, and in small, confined spaces as needed.
